Doctrine and Covenants of the Final Restoration

The Doctrine and Covenants of the Final Restoration continues the work begun by the prophet Joseph Smith. Where the LDS church preserved the original revelations of Joseph Smith largely intact while departing from their meaning in practice, and where it altered the wording of certain revelations between the 1833 Book of Commandments and the 1835 Doctrine and Covenants, this volume restores the original sense of those revelations and adds the new revelation given through the prophet Christopher Glenn Marriott in the Dispensation of the Final Restoration.
